Introduction

If you’re reading this, you’re probably looking for something in your life. Ultimately, what everyone is looking for is a feeling of well-being. However, how long the feeling of well-being lasts and how deep the feeling is, is another matter.
In general, for most people in the first twenty years of life, we grow physically. In the next twenty years we grow materially. By the time we reach forty, we begin to question the value of our life because the material does not fulfill us. Something is missing and yet the outside world continues to bombard us with messages about who we should be, what we should want, and how we should be getting it. Our minds become filled to capacity and we feel overloaded. Life becomes an unending strive toward attainment, leaving us little or no time to relax and enjoy. This is the way to burn out—too much doing and not enough being.

In trying to gain so much in the material world, it is easy to lose touch with what is important—the ability to feel happiness and contentment from growing spiritually. Nevertheless, what does growing spiritually mean? Is it reading about religion and philosophy? Ultimately it comes down to being able to read your own life, with your own mind. But how does one do that? First, what is our mind?
The word mind seems so broad a term, it has almost lost all practical meaning. We must have some basic understanding of our mind that will guide us in a way to truly help us navigate this world effectively. This is where understanding the Kelee will make things easier. It is possible to open your mind and learn how to read your life in a new way, if you know how. Aren’t you curious?
It’s hard to believe that you can feel better than you’ve ever imagined and yet you can. You can experience a silent miracle by learning to open your mind to your peaceful nature. The world doesn’t need a miracle it can’t understand, it needs a miracle it can. The first step is learning to calm your mind. It is so simple, it’s often overlooked. To realize this silent miracle, all you have to do is practice for ten minutes in the morning and ten minutes in the evening in the privacy of your own home. This method is not tied to a specific religious philosophy; you can benefit from it no matter what you believe. This practice will simply help you to release resistant thoughts that keep you from experiencing love in your life.

The Silent Miracle offers a practical way to slow down your thoughts, relax your mind, and be at peace with yourself. This practice will show you how to release negative ways of being in a miraculous way. As you begin to do The Practice, you begin to notice subtle changes that, with time, grow as your awareness opens up. Upon learning to free yourself from your most obvious psychological baggage, you will realize that you are no longer being distracted by, or wasting time on, annoying thoughts and feelings. You will simply have more free time to enjoy yourself. It will seem as if time appears out of nowhere because you are no longer being consumed by your problems. You will begin to have time to really live your life and feel your connection with yourself and the world around you. You will begin to see sunrises and sunsets as if for the first time. You will begin to notice the wind caressing your face. You will open to the beauty of nature. All of life will appear sharper and more vibrant because your mind is calm enough to experience and feel the magnificence within you and surrounding you.
My goal in writing this book has been to help people experience the richness that life has to offer by simply being more mindful in the moment. By learning to sit down for a few minutes each day to still your mind, you will find what everyone is looking for—a life to be enjoyed. Lasting happiness, and an intimate connection with all that life has to offer, is the result of uncovering you true nature found in your Kelee.
